Twitter is a valuable resource for small business owners to tap into for expert tips, information, news and much more. Twitter is an easy access point for small business owners to connect with other business owners and potential customers. However, to really benefit, the small business owner has to take part and not just take.
Twitter First steps
First steps first. If you are a small business owner and don’t have a twitter account, simply create one now. I suggest you do it now as you will want to get started right away. One of the first things twitter will ask you when you create your new account is for you to select 10 twitter accounts to follow. Below I have provided you with a good starter list which will fill your feed and your mind with great information.

From this point you will have a good base to follow and learn from. Continue to follow accounts as you see them and you will find that those account will start to follow you!

Lastly, once you feel comfortable and knowledgeable about what is being posted for small businesses, you can get in the game and make a few posts yourself.
